Celebrating Day of the Dead: Creatively Exploring Home Funerals and Green Burials, November 1, at Threshold.  This was a lovely gathering that featured music from Women with Wings and green caskets made by Humble Crossings in Madison.

 

Home Funeral Workshop, an evening and a day workshop on the cultural, spiritual, legal and practical aspects of having a home funeral, February 26 & 27, at Threshold.  Here are pictures from that event.

Facing Our Dying: Love and Death a two day workshop with Flint Sparks, March 15-16, at Holy Wisdom Monastery

Green Burial film (“Dying Green”) and Discussion, with representatives from two local green cemeteries.  January 14 at the Goodman Community Center.  Approximately 100 people were in attendance.

Home Funeral film (“A Family Undertaking”) and Discussion, with Charlene Elderkin of the Threshold Care Circle.  November 14 at the Goodman Community Center.  Approximately 40 people were in attendance
